Olds College’s President and CEO says their digital agriculture baccalaureate program was launched during the current school year and it is a unique offering in the country.
In December, Dr. Ben Cecil adds, Ag Canada recognized the top 10 contributions to agricultural and ag tech in the nation.
He notes that the annual Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo is a great opportunity for Olds College’s Brewery to continue to produce its Oldstoberfest beer.
They will be welcoming dozens of new students to their campus this month, according to Dr. Cecil.

President Cecil says being ranked fourth in the entire country for college research achievement, and revenues generated in support of research scholarship stands out as a significant accomplishment in 2023 for Olds College. Those rankings were compiled by Research Infosource Inc.
