The Olds Fall Classic is a beef cattle showcase held annually during the first weekend in October.
Crystal Cyrankiewicz with Olds Regional Exhibition notes that it is an all breed show. She says “it highlights Black Angus, Blonde, Charolais, Hereford, Limousin, Red Angus, Shorthorn Simmental, and Speckle Park, as well as the Stars of Tomorrow, a Jackpot Calf Show. Each of the deserving Champion Bull and Female winners, are judged by professional judges and are eligible for Alberta Supreme at Farmfair and Agribition Beef Supreme. It’s a huge show. People come from all over Canada.”
She adds, there is no cost to come and watch the Olds Fall Classic.
It takes place in the MegaDome this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
