U18 Tier 2 provincial excitement starts on Thursday, March 28th at 5pm with Fairview versus Vegreville on the main ice surface at the SportsComplex.
The opening game for the hosts from Olds will be against the Glenlake Hawks and live coverage can be heard on 96.5 CKFM on Thursday at 7:30pm.
Olds is in Pool A for the 8 team provincial tournament. The Grizzlys finished 4th in the Central Alberta Hockey League’s U18 Tier 2 Red Division during the 2023-2024 regular season with a record of 7-7-2.
The Grizzlys will face off with Fairview on Friday at 2:15pm, and then more live coverage of their preliminary round games can be heard on Saturday at 1:30 on CKFM when they battle the Vegreville Wranglers.
Hockey Alberta’s U18 Tier 2 provincial banner will be handed out following the championship game on Sunday, March 31st at 4pm.
