Small Business Week is coming up from October 20th through the 26th.
In Alberta and across Canada it is a celebration of entrepreneurs and their contribution to the economy.
The Olds & District Chamber of Commerce will bring the community together on Thursday, October 24th for the 2024 Small Business Awards Gala.
Murray Elliott, Chair of the Awards Gala committee, points out that it will be held at the Olds Royal Canadian Legion. He says “we also held it at the Legion last year. Great event turkey dinner, Nuff Said is our entertainment and, of course, we are there to recognize small business and winners in small business.”
He adds, there are eight categories for the awards – including the big one. Elliott says “Business of the Year, which is sponsored by Cam Clark Ford. The nominees are Sim’s Furniture, Olds Golf Club, Olds Uptowne Market, Dunrite Printing Services, and United Floors Mountain View.”
