The Innisfail & District Chamber of Commerce takes a moment to highlight the local business community on Tuesday, October 29th.
Trish Proctor, Administrator of the Innisfail Chamber, points out that they will hand out separate Business of the Year Awards for communities including Bowden, Innisfail, Penhold, and Red Deer County. She says “they get a beautiful trophy that was actually custom done with their names and their category and they year they won that award.”
Doors open at the Innisfail Legion Auditorium for networking and cocktails on Tuesday at 5:30, dinners is at 6 o’clock. However, the deadline to get tickets has passed.
Awards will be handed out in 9 categories and Proctor says this year they have a total of 150 nominees. She says “it’s the whole reason that the Innisfail & District Chamber of Commerce exists is strictly for the businesses and everything that they do to promote everything within Innisfail, Penhold, Bowden, and Red Deer County.”
Among the other award categories are Customer Service, Community Impact, Business Resiliency, and Non-Profit of the Year.
