Another edition of Coffee & Conversation is coming up next week at the Didsbury Museum.
It occurs on the third Wednesday of every month.
Museum Manager Dawn Stewart explains what they have planned for Wednesday, November 20th. She says “this month’s speaker is Jack Payne. He has a wealth of knowledge about Canada’s role in the Boer War, and even the U.S. Civil War. He will be giving a talk between 1 and 3 o’clock. There is light refreshments served and it is completely free – although we are always open to donations.”
Meanwhile, the Didsbury & District Historical Society is holding its annual general meeting on Thursday, November 14th at 7pm at the Didsbury Museum.
According to Stewart, the public is welcome to attend and there will be a short presentation showing a summary of everything they have done at the museum in the past year.
