An armed robbery is being investigated by Blackfalds RCMP.
It happened just after 12:35am on Monday, November 11th at the 7-11 in Blackfalds.
Mounties say “two unidentified people in scream masks entered the store, threatened the staff and discharged a shotgun into the ceiling.”
According to police, the suspects departed after taking cash from the till.

Blackfalds RCMP are continuing to investigate and they are asking the public for information related to this armed robbery.
Police note that the shotgun is described as having “a unique/stainless steel barrel.”
