A food drive contest for the Plus One – McDougal Chapel Emergency Food Hamper is part of a U15 hockey tournament in Sundre this weekend.
14-year-old Connor McKenzie with the Sundre Huskies points out the fact that the team that brings in the most food will be given a team prize. He says “you can bring non-perishable food, toilet paper, etc.”
Donations can be brought upstairs in the Sundre Arena on Friday and until 1pm on Saturday.
Huskies Captain Grayson Suter thanks all of their sponsors for the tournament.
8 teams are in Sundre for the tourney. The games start at 5pm on November 15th and continue through until the championship game at 4:15pm on November 17th.
