The Sundre Municipal Library has launched their annual Silent Auction fundraiser.
The public is encouraged to swing by the Library to take a look, and make a bid on some of the donated items up for auction.
Sundre Library Manager, Joy Willihnganz, says there’s a plenty of treasures that have been donated by various community members.
“We’ve got some really cool stuff. We’ve got some board games, we’ve got some kids toys, we even have a ladies bicycle. So, a little bit of everything and all rolled up into one spot.”
The Silent Auction is organized by the Friends of the Sundre Library.
Bidding closes at 5pm on November 28th, and bids will only be accepted in person at the Library.
Willihnganz says the Silent Auction is their biggest fundraiser of the year and it always receives great support.
“It is and it’s been happening for many years. The Friends of the Library use the funds for programming initiatives for children, they’ve done all sorts of great things for us. We really are grateful for their support in this fundraiser and for the community support with great donations and all who come out and bid.”
The Sundre Municipal Library Silent Auction is on now through November 28th.
