The Mountain View Colts are galloping towards the holiday break.
The good times kept on rolling for the Colts as they beat the Thunder 8-2 in Airdrie on Tuesday, December 17th. It is the sixth consecutive victory for Mountain View.
18-year-old rookie forward Ryder Hammer from Olds had a hat trick, plus an assist to help the Colts top the Thunder. It was Hammer’s second hatty of the season. He also had 3 goals against the Copperheads when the Colts won 7-3 in Coaldale back on November 2nd.
The Colts will try and up their winning streak to seven when they visit the Agri Risk Wheatland Kings in Strathmore on Friday. Mountain View has a record of 13-10-and-1 to sit in a second place tie with Red Deer in the Northern Division.
