Door prizes, a 50/50 draw, a midnight lunch, and free shuttle service home are all on tap as the Spruce View Ag Society rings in the new year.
Logan Ebbesen, President of the Spruce View & District Agricultural Society, their cabaret at the Spruce View Hall will include music from Dustin Farr.
Their New Year’s Eve celebration starts on December 31st at 8 o’clock at the Spruce View Hall.
Meanwhile, Ebbesen notes one of the main focuses for the Spruce View Ag Society is operating the Dickson Arena. He says “we’re kind of going through a transitional phase where we’re kind of taking things over and trying to get it updated. We do a lot of agricultural stuff in the area too, such as Farm Days. We help the youth go out and do farm safety stuff. That’s what a lot of our work goes towards, but mainly it’s just the arena and trying to do events for the community to keep people, you know, engaged and coming out.”
