3rd annual Battle of the Badges supporting the Innisfail Food Bank

Bragging rights are on the line tonight, but either way the Innisfail Food Bank will emerge victorious.
The Food Bank is being supported by a charity hockey game at the Innsifail Twin Arenas this evening.
Staff Sergean Ian Ihme notes it will be the third annual Battle of the Badges between the Innisfail RCMP and the Innisfail Fire Department. He says “the pantry at the Food Bank definitely starts running a little lower on food during the Christmas holidays. We wanted to kind of do something to jump start their stockpile of food and cash. Just do what we can to give back to those that are still needing after the holidays.”
All of the proceeds from the third annual Battle of the Badges will go to the Innisfail Food Bank. Ihme says “admission is free with a donation to the Food Bank. So either cash or a food donation. There will be some other prizes and stuff, plus a 50/50 people can participate in too to help support the Food Bank as well.”
Join them at the Twin Arenas for the charity hockey game this evening at 6pm (Friday, January 3rd).
