Mavs Players Shake Hands With Rampage Players Post Game During The 2022 Season

The Mountain View Mavericks are (0-1-1) after the opening weekend of play in the Junior B Tier 1 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

The Mav’s season began on Saturday when they traveled to St Albert, taking the Crude Lacrosse Club down to the wire and leaving with a 6-6 tie.

On Sunday, Mountain View returned to the Innisfail Twin Arena for their home opener against the Rockyview Silvertips.

The Mavs got a short-handed goal from Treyton Mirus, but Silvertips would go on to spoil the party defeating the home side 7-1.

Mav’s veteran Hayden Sutherland says after a tough loss on Saturday, the offense was a little stuck in the mud on Sunday.

Sutherland has been with the Mavericks since 2022, he’s now playing his second season under Head Coach Trey Christensen.
The Mavericks are now idle until Friday night, when they host the Calgary Chill for more lacrosse action at the Innisfail Twin Arena.
