Mountain View County has lifted its Fire Restriction.
The Fire Restriction had taken effect on April 23rd.
According to a press release from Mountain View County, as of May 1st there had been sufficient snowfall to remove the restriction. Further moisture is also anticipated in the forecast.
The statement from the County also urges the public to “exercise caution while burning and use precautionary measures such as screens and spark arrestors on burning barrels, cultivate areas surrounding controlled burns and have a supply of water readily available at all times.”
