Didsbury council accepts CAO’s resignation

After just over five years with the Town of Didsbury, Ethan Gorner has tendered his resignation as CAO.

Gorner, who began his time with the Town in January of 2020, is out as Chief Administrative Officer effective February 24th.

According to a media release from the Town of Didsbury, a special council meeting this week included a motion by councillor Bill Windsor to accept Gorner’s resignation as CAO.

In a statement, Mayor Rhonda Hunter notes “over the next days and weeks, we will discuss next steps and make a plan for the CAO recruitment process.” She also thanked Gorner and wished him all the best in his future endeavours.
