RCMP are passing along condolences to the family and friends of the deceased following a fatal motor vehicle collision on Sunday.
It happened on Highway 22 near Township Road 312 at about 5:30pm on March 2nd.
According to police, a Dodge Journey and a Ford F-150 were involved in a two vehicle collision.
Mounties say the vehicles were discovered in the north bound lane and “the Dodge was fully engulfed in flames.” Police add, “the driver of the Dodge was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the F-150 was taken via STARS to a Calgary hospital in critical condition.”

Didsbury and Sundre RCMP responded and the RCMP collision reconstructionist was also on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
