Death of 21-year-old woman in Red Deer deemed a homicide

Police believe a murder in Red Deer was a targeted attack and there is no ongoing risk to the public.

A report of a deceased individual in an apartment on 30th Street in Red Deer was received by RCMP on Monday, March 10th just before 8pm.

The death of the 21-year-old woman has been deemed a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner and the investigation has been handed over to the RCMP Major Crimes Unit.
