A comedy magic show is being featured this week as a fundraiser for Ecole Deer Meadow School.
Shannon Risling, Secretary with the Deer Meadow Parent Council, points out that DMS is raising money for a sound system for the gymnasium. She says “so we are trying to upgrade that and we’re trying to help get the community to maybe help out a little bit.”
She explains who the performers will be for the event on Thursday, March 20th at 6pm at the Olds College Alumni Centre. Risling says “they are called Double Vision and they’ve actually been featured on Canada’s Got Talent. They are a magic show that is from Saskatchewan. They have been doing it for, I believe, 30 years now so they have quite a following.”
There will also be a silent auction and a live auction.
