The Rimbey Pro Rodeo is the first official Pro Rodeo Canada event of the new year.
Several competitions from September of last year through December have already counted towards this season, but Rimbey will kick off 2025 when the top cowboys, cowgirls, and stock arrive at the Rimbey Agrim Centre for rodeo excitement on both Friday and Saturday night at 7 o’clock.
This weekend’s action (March 21-22) is being presented by the West of the 5th Rodeo Society in support of STARS Air Ambulance.
Other notable local dates on the 2025 circuit include the CPRA tour stop in Drayton from May 2nd through the 4th, Rocky Mountain House from June 6th to the 8th, Innisfail from June 13th to the 15th, and Sundre from June 20th to the 22nd.
Later this summer Pro Rodeo Canada will arrive in Airdrie from June 27th to the 30th, Bowden from July 11th to the 13th, and Olds on September 12th and 13th.
