Pair of central Albertans face drug trafficking charges after being stopped by RCMP in Olds

Over 230 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located by police in Olds recently.

Drug trafficking activity was observed by the Olds Crime Reduction Team on March 27th and subsequently a traffic stop was conducted.

Once the suspected drugs were located a 26-year-old woman from Innisfail was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, four counts of failure to comply with a probation order, and failure to comply with an undertaking.

A 48-year-old man from Penhold was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He is to appear in court in Didsbury this week, while her court date there is slated for April 28th.
