There is a chance to learn more about the candidates running in the Ponoka-Didsbury constituency coming up next week.
A federal election forum is set for Thursday, April 17th at 7pm at the Olds Royal Canadian Legion. The MVF Community Care Society is hosting it and all candidates have been invited.
The list of confirmed candidates was issued by Elections Canada on Wednesday, April 9th. Running in the Ponoka-Didsbury riding are Grant Abraham of the United Party of Canada, Blaine Calkins of the Conservative Party of Canada, Larry Gratton of the People’s Party of Canada, Logan Hooley of the New Democratic Party, and Zarnab Zafar of the Liberals.
Election day is April 28th and advanced polling will take place from April 18th through the 21st. More details can be found on the elections.ca website.
