Spring Clean Up events are continuing this week in the Town of Olds.
Adrian Pedro, Director of Infrastructure, says spring is in the air and it is time to declutter.
He adds, their spring clean up events are designed to spruce up the Town and foster community spirit.
According to Pedro, their Pop-Up Transfer Station initiative runs this Thursday through Saturday and it offers Town residents who register for it an opportunity to dispose of a truck bed load of waste at no cost.
He highlights the fact that this service is only available to Olds residents, and that hazardous household waste will only be accepted on Saturday.
Pedro points out that household renovation material such as dry wall will not be accepted at this time.

The Pop-Up Transfer Station is coming up from 9am until 7pm from Thursday, May 23rd through Saturday, May 25th at the Town of Olds Operations Centre on 70th Avenue.
