Didsbury council was presented earlier this month with the 2024 Capital road works projects for consideration.
At the May 14th meeting, Mayor Rhonda Hunter says council approved that Boarder Paving be awarded the project in the amount of more than $472,000 dollars ($472,530). She says “Projects included in this bid are the 20th Avenue mill and overlay, the 15th Avenue mill and overlay, along with the Coop Road surface works projects.”
Mayor Hunter says council has also approved the 2024 Economic Development Marketing Plan.
It includes three goals in its key objectives: business retention, showcasing Didsbury as a place to live a quality life, and being a unique tourism destination.
