The Alberta Professional Chuckwagon and Chariot Association spent last weekend in Dewberry.
Marvin Hubl from Eckville was the winner in the wagons. His total running time for two days of chuckwagon racing was 137.26 seconds to just get past Tracey Stott from Olds who wound up two-tenths of a second back with her time of 137.46. One performance was rained out for the wagons.
The chariots managed to fit in three days of racing in Dewberry. Cody Leach’s outfit from Weekes, Saskatchewan was driven by Heidi Leach and she got them to the finish line with the top total time of the weekend at 206.96.
