Town Of Innisfail Kicks Off Canada Day Celebrations On June 30

The ‘Kick Off to Canada Day Celebration’ is coming up this weekend in the Town of Innisfail.
Ken Kowalchuk with the Town says they will get an early start on the festivities by hosting their Canada Day events on June 30th.
He encourages community members to join them on Sunday at Napolean Sports Field next to the Innisfail Twin Arenas. Kowalchuk says “We have a family area from 5:30 until 9:30. So this will include an inflatable obstacle course, face painting. There’s going to be games hosted by the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame. We have food trucks at the event. There is a beer gardens hosted by Field & Forge brewing and then there are live performances. So we have performances by Joy’s School of Dance, Macleod of Lewis, FLYIN’ BOB, Cole Malone, and the Sour Patch Men.”
The fireworks are set for 11pm on Sunday.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate on Sunday, the celebrations will move inside the Innisfail Twin Arenas.
