Summer Fun At The Sundre Municipal Library

Teens After Hours is one of the summer fun programs at the Sundre Municipal Library.
Library Manager Joy Willihnganz says it is for teens moving into Grade 7 – 12.
She adds, the first one is on July 4th and there is another on August 1st. She says “So this is an opportunity for just kids to come into the library. We will start setting up just before we close and there will be Nerf wars, mini golf. It is a chance to get loud and perhaps a little bit rambunctious and then we will head over to The Den for pizza. For the one coming up, we’re also going to have virtual reality at The Den as well.”
Teens After Hours goes from 4:30 until 6pm at the Library, and then for supper and more at The Den from 6 until 8pm. She says no registration is required but please let them know if you are coming if you can.
Meanwhile, Wednesday’s are wild this summer at the Sundre Municipal Library.

Willihnganz points out that the July 3rd session is going to be ‘Water Gun Canvas Art’. She says “Our Wild Wednesday’s is the family program for kids from (ages) 0-18 and parents as well.”

The Wild Wednesday sessions run every Wednesday from July 3rd through August 14th from 1 until 2:30pm. It is a drop in event and it requires a parent or caregiver to attend.

For more details about any of their programming and activities, contact Joy at 403-638-4000 and visit the Sundre Municipal Library website or Facebook page.
