Alberta Health Services is giving high school students an opportunity to gain paid healthcare work experience this summer.
A new program has been launched between AHS and CAREERS, an industry-led nonprofit foundation.
33 students across Alberta have the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals and gain invaluable insight into healthcare settings.
The students will be AHS employees and receive site- and position-based training and orientation.
