The Municipal District of Bighorn is advising residents of an out of control wildfire roughly 25 kilometers west of Water Valley.
As a result, an evacuation order has been issued for the area and residents are advised to check in at a reception centre at the Water Valley Community Hall.
Staff are on site to assist, while residents in areas surrounding the fire should be prepared to leave their properties with minimal notification.
Firefighters are on scene, however the fire is not contained at this time.

Sundre RCMP have issued road closures for the effected areas as crews are on scene to battle the fire, which is not contained as of now.
