The first of six exhibition tune ups for the Black & Gold ahead of the 2024-2025 AJHL regular season is coming up this week.
Kevin Watson, Manager of Business Operations with the Grizzlys, says Olds will face off for a preseason tilt with the Devon Xtreme at 7pm on Wednesday, August 28th at the SportsComplex.
Tickets for the preseason games are $10 dollars for adults and seniors, $5 bucks for students (ages 5-17). Kids under 5 get in for free.
The slate of preseason games for the Grizzlys includes road games at Devon on Friday at 7pm, and at Drumheller on Sunday at 2pm.
Olds will be back at home on Wednesday, September 4th to play the Drumheller Dragons.
The exhibition action wraps up with a visit to Canmore on Friday, September 6th and then a home game versus the Eagles on Saturday, September 7th.
The Alberta Junior Hockey League regular season starts for Olds at home on Friday, September 13th against Drumheller at 7pm.
According to Watson, season tickets are in as well and if you buy them before August 30th you will be entered into a draw for some Grizzlys swag.
Pocket schedules are in now too. Stop by the Grizzlys Office to get them.
He says they are always looking for Game Night volunteers, and they are still looking for a few more great billet families as well.
