Wild Rose Humane Society running a ‘clear the shelter’ event until September 15th

The Wild Rose Humane Society is trying to get all of the animals in their shelter adopted.

Treasurer Mark Fournier says they started on August 16th and this event will continue until September 15th.

He notes they have special viewing events set up for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Animals that are currently up for adoption can be viewed on their website wildrosehumane.ca, according to Fournier. He says it is “for individuals who want to come and take a look at our animals that are in our care and see if one of them would be a good fit for their homes and their families.”
Individuals and families that are looking to adopt a cat or dog will get a 20 per cent discount on their adoption fees until September 15th. Fournier says there are “kittens that we have up for adoption. We a number of have cats that are up for adoption and we actually have four puppies that have been with us for the last few months. They’ve all been altered. They are pretty much trained. Sit on command. They are very good with people, they are very good with other animals, other pets.”

The Wild Rose Humane Society’s shelter is located at 13 Co-op Road in Didsbury.
