The Mountain View Colts are gearing up for a 2 game Heritage Junior Hockey League weekend, starting tonight in Ponoka.
The Colts will return home on Saturday night for a big division matchup against the Sylvan Lake Wranglers.
The 6-9-0 Colts are tied for 4th place in the Northern Division with 12 points, having lost their last 2 games, and are 18 points behind first place Sylvan Lake.
The Colts were defeated by the Wranglers last weekend by a score of 4-0 at the Nexsource Centre, but Mountain View did pick up a road win in Sylvan by a score of 2-1 earlier this season.
Sylvan Lake currently leads the season series against Mountain View 2 games to 1.
The Wranglers previous victory at the Didsbury Memorial Complex came back on October 11th by a score of 8-3.
Mountain View is in Ponoka tonight to take on the Stampeders at 7:30, before returning home on Saturday night to tangle with the Sylvan Lake Wranglers.
