Olds College of Agriculture and Technology has hired a new Dean.
The local post secondary institution has brought in Amos Ngai into the role of Dean of the School of Life Science and Business.Â
According to a press release, Ngai brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role, with previous experience as Associate Dean at Bow Valley College and most recently at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.Â
Dalin Bulluck, OC’s Interim Vice President, Academic, says in the news release that Ngai’s extensive background in higher education, coupled with a strong commitment to integrating innovative learning technologies, positions him to lead the School of Life Science and Business into an exciting new chapter.
The School of Life Science & Business offers students opportunities for hands-on learning and career development with facilities such as the Animal Health Education Centre, National Meat Training Centre, Botanic Gardens and Wetlands, Prairie Turfgrass Research Centre and the Canadian Equine Centre of Innovation.
Ngai is already in town, having started at the College earlier this month.
