The CEO of the United Way Central Alberta is celebrating a collaboration that shows what’s possible when a community comes together to address local needs.
As Bower Place Shopping Centre’s 2024 Charity of Choice, the United Way Central Alberta is receiving over $29,000.
It was raised thanks to the generosity of Bower Place’s patrons, staff, volunteers, and community members.
Chelsea O’Donoghue notes that they “are incredibly grateful to Bower Place for their unwavering support and to every individual who contributed to making last year’s partnership such a success.”
The money was raised through several community-focused events organized by Bower Place in Red Deer including the Westerner Days Pancake Breakfast, Charity Shopping Night, and the Gift Wrapping Station.
