Two important documents are being updated by the Town of Olds.
According to Kyle Sloan, the Town’s Municipal Planner, the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and the Land Use Bylaw (LUB) are used to shape how the community grows and develops. He says “the MDP guides how our town will grow in the future, while the LUB makes rules about how land can be used and where homes, businesses, and parks can go.”
Sloan adds, that in June they will be sharing proposed changes to these plans. He says “your feedback will be used to help the town update these documents to capture what is important to the current and future residents, and businesses in Olds.”
