Don’t wait to be voluntold to nominate someone for Citizen of the Year

Nominations for Volunteer of the Year are now open.

Trina Radcliff, Community Facilitator with the Town of Olds, says their 25th annual Volunteer Appreciation Night is slated for April 25th.

Radcliff notes that they will be proudly honouring outstanding volunteers in three categories so submit your nominations if you know some who has made a significant impact in the community through their volunteer work. She says “the categories include Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year for those 55 and over, and Youth Citizen of the Year for change makers under 21 years of age.”

Radliff points out that volunteers make waves and together we make ripples of change. Visit Olds.ca/VolunteerOfTheYear to honour someone who is making waves in our community by completing your nominations by March 1st.
