An important information session is coming up ahead of tax time.
H & R Block and the Olds & District Special Family Voices Council are teaming up for it.
Peter Premachuk, Tax Associate with H & R Block in Olds, says he will have all of the forms there. According to Premachuk, they will mostly be talking about the caregivers tax credit. He says “it’s different from the disability tax credit. I’m mean people can get the caregiver and the disability tax credit. So, really the evening is going to really cover mostly the caregivers but it will also swing into the disability and how they could be inter-related and how they could save people money.”
Premachuk adds, the caregivers tax credit presentation will be at the Hope Point Church on February 24th at 7pm for about an hour plus some time for questions and answers.
