Huge success: Benefit dance and silent auction held in Bowden for Charlie Brittain

The community gathered in Bowden over the weekend to help out a friend in need.

Patti Bauer helped to coordinate Saturday’s benefit dance and silent auction for Charlie Brittain at the Paterson Community Hall.

According to Bauer, it was a huge success and Charlie was very overwhelmed. She says “we counted, I think, 310 but there was probably more. They kept putting out tables, and putting out tables and chairs it was great and we played right until 12 o’clock. Music went on right until 12. Again, we’d just like to thank everybody that donated, spent the time, came out, enjoyed themselves, and seen Charlie. It was great.”

She thanks everyone who participated. Reach out to Charlie Brittain on Facebook to further donate or to send him a message.
