Town Of Olds Celebrates Alberta Rural Health Week

Alberta Rural Health Week began on Monday and continues through until today (May 27-31).
Town of Olds Mayor Judy Dahl highlights the fact that the week is our opportunity to celebrate and recognize the remarkable success of all rural health care providers and community volunteers. She says “To the volunteers who go above and beyond to champion health care, we salute you. Your talent and donation of time is the best gift a community can receive.”
She adds, these dedicated professionals bring medical expertise and compassion to our communities and their commitment goes far beyond medical care as their skills will mentor the next generation of health care providers.
Mayor Dahl encourages everyone to join together to make Alberta Rural Health Week a meaningful celebration. She says “Show appreciation for these special people and their efforts that make our community stronger, healthier, and long standing”
Health care providers improve the quality of life in rural areas and they make a difference by fostering trust, according to Mayor Dahl.
