Terry Cartier had the call on Country 106.5 in Vegreville as Jack Stott from Lacombe and his outfit finished off a clean sweep at the Dash To Summer event.
Being driven by Jack’s son John, the team had the fastest time all three days in Vegreville, finishing first in the aggregate as well with a total time of 205.35.
Stott’s time was more than two seconds ahead of second place finisher Allan Bengston from Bluffton who ended the weekend with a total time of 207.58.
The event was the first of the season for the Alberta Professional Chuckwagon & Chariot Association.
Next up is a trip to Rocky Mountain House this weekend for the 50th Rocky Pro Rodeo from June 6th to the 9th.
