The Mountain View Mavericks are inching towards the finish line of the Rocky Mountain Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse league calendar, with just 5 games left before the post season.
The Mavericks host their central division rivals, the Red Deer Rampage, to the Innisfail Twin Arena at 9 on Friday night.
The Mavs are (9-5-1) and have won 4 of their last 5 games, they are 2nd in the Central Division with 19 points.
The Rampage are 3rd in the division with 16 points, while the Rockyview Silvertips lead the way with 24 points.
Mav’s transition player, Luke Hildebrandt, has been lighting the league on fire since joining the team one week into regular season play.
Hildebrandt has 34 goals and 49 points in 10 games this year, he is tied for 6th in league scoring.
The Mavericks are in Red Deer tonight to take on the Rampage.
They’ll then be idle for a week, before hosting the very same Red Deer Rampage at the Innisfail Twin Arena on July 5th.
