Innisfail RCMP are reminding the community that kids in the area have returned to school and the playgrounds and crosswalks are busy once again.
Tuesday – the opening morning of the school year – Innisfail RCMP conducted a speed enforcement check stop where six speeding violations and one warning notice were issued for speeding within the school zone.
Drivers are reminded that the school zone speed limit is 30 kilometers per hour.

Mounties say “citizens should expect increased speed enforcement from the Innisfail RCMP at all schools in Innisfail, Penhold and Spruceview through out the school year.”
