Night walk for Narcolepsy

Bringing awareness and education to the community!
Join us at Holy Trinity School in Olds on Sept. 21 at 6:30 pm for an informative session on what life is like with Narcolepsy by guest speaker Kelsey Bingham. Followed by a Glow walk with informative information posted along the path about Narcolepsy.
Narcolepsy is a neurological disorder that is often misdiagnosed and affects approximately 1 in 2000 people and on average takes 10-15 years to receive a diagnosis.
Our daughter Rosa was diagnosed with Narcolepsy Type 1 in September of 2023.
This has been a journey of tears and smiles and a recognition that there needs to be better awareness of sleep disorders.
It is my hope to raise the level of understanding in the community and form a society to support people with sleep disorders. and to raise funds to increase education and assist those persons living with Narcolepsy or Idiopathic hypersomnia.
