Racliffe says for this year they will do a lot of mentorship programs between the Olds College student athletes and Olds Minor Hockey female athletes, as well as our coaches. She adds, Olds College really wants to inspire them to be future Broncos, and show them where they can go. Radcliffe says “it’s incredible. I mean, obviously, I’m super passionate about hockey because that’s my background as well and I think it just makes sense. You know, we have our top female athletes in this community being that goal and those mentors for our young female hockey players. To just get that new fresh Broncos brand out there, I think everyone is excited to wear it and represent and be a future Bronco.”
The Broncos women’s hockey team hosts SAIT for an exhibition game this Thursday at 7pm.
