FABRIC DYEING AND SEWN PROJECT
Join Debbie McIvor for this two-part class! In the first class we will be using leaves to print on fabric. Using larger scraps or Fat Quarters with fabric paints to create interesting textures on the fabric. The fabric can be washed but no fabric softener or used without washing. Fabrics need to be 100% cotton. In the second class we will be creating a project using our printed fabric. We will be making Sweet Pea Pods. Supplies needed will be an 18″ zipper. 12″ square of fabric and batting as well as a matching lining. Basic sewing supplies: thread to match( we will be quilting our fabric before sewing these pods) ruler, rotary cutter, marking pen etc.

TIME: Monday 10-12am, Tuesday 1-4pm
LOCATION: Cremona Gold and Silver Club
COST: $40 under 55, FREE for 55 and up, adults only
